Insulated Panel System

What sets World Food Equipment apart from the rest? We engineer our units to be the best of the best with top quality features such as our high density foam rails, our panel systems, cam-lock mechanism and our tongue and groove design.

High Density Foam Rails

Our high density foam rails are incredibly flexible and can withstand extreme temperatures, easily making them the best choice to use for peak performance in our walk-in cooling systems. Here are a few more reasons why they stand out:

high density foam rails
  • Easily customizable to fit any size requirements

  • High structural integrity; our panels are durable and require less maintenance

  • Can withstand some of the most extreme temperatures

  • No warping or twisting

  • Incredibly flexible and strong

With this new design, we prefer to use foam rails as opposed to the old design which uses wood. There are extensive amounts of benefits! Wood does not keep its structural integrity once exposed to extremely cold temperatures, and become wet. You can have peace of mind knowing that the materials we use are long lasting for the best results.

Insulated Panel Systems

When it comes to specifics, your space is unique and different. At World Food Equipment, we custom design our units to fit your space, and accommodate any logistical difficulties, as well as offering you the quality you deserve. We believe in the quality of our work! Our insulated panel system keeps air and moisture out, while being energy efficient, and easy to install. At World Food Equipment, we design your unit with highly efficient panel construction, cam lock mechanisms and tongue and groove designs.

Panel Construction

For our panel construction, we use polyurethane insulation between every panel on the interior and exterior of your unit. We foam them in place to achieve the most optimal insulation there is on the market. This is also a better alternative in regards to cost effectiveness, ultimately achieving a higher quality insulation, with highly efficient properties at a lower cost.

Cam Lock Mechanism

What are cam lock panels? And why do I need them? These are just a few questions you may be asking yourself if you are new to the cooler or freezer market. Cam lock panels and mechanisms are extremely important to ensure an accurate and tight fit between panels. This is one of the best things to invest in, because it truly is worth it. To achieve a perfect seal and highly accurate panel alignment, then a cam lock mechanism is for you! This also makes it easy for relocation or expansion if the need ever arises.

For the best seal, we choose to use more than one cam lock mechanism, and it really shows in the final product. The already insulated panels are then joined together to create the refrigerator or freezer, and then are tightly sealed together. A few other features are:

  • Very light weight making it easy to assemble and install

  • Leak proof

  • Strong structure with less maintenance

  • Easily customizable

  • Relocation and expansion are achievable

  • Tightest seal means more control over moisture in the air

TONGUE & GROOVE

Our tongue and groove design is essentially a cam lock system that creates an air tight seal in between the panels, ensuring that air does not get into the insulation core. This in the long term, leads to a longer lasting cooler or freezer walk-in. These panels are available in a variety of thicknesses, while still being light weight and heavy duty. The interlocking tongue-and groove panels are designed for interior and exterior usage, and can operate at extreme temperatures.
